Drogba injury

Drogba of Chelsea has been having some knee issues lately. He said that at Aston Villa, his injury really flared up. Chelsea has an upcoming game with their rivals Manchester United and need a win to stay on top of the EPL. A loss would put Manchester ahead of them by one point. Drogba would like to play in the game but isn't sure if he will be able to. He said he will travel with the team and make a game time decision. Will Drogba play? Let me know what you think.

Neville fires warning to Manchester United

Gary Neville warned Manchester United to not fall behind like they have in the past few years. They have struggled starting strong and it no new story this year. Manchester had to wait for four games before winning their first match. He said they need to stay amongst the leaders of the Premier League and to not fall more than a few points behind. They have a few tough games ahead of them that include Everton and Chelsea, which are two of the four teams tied for first with ten points. Man U is only two points behind the four leaders, but with two losses they would fall back six points. They need to at least split the points with each teams to stay in the race early on. Maximum points, win both games, would put them right up there with the other two leaders Liverpool and Arsenal. These next two games will see how Man U handles the warning and see if they are worthy and tough enough to be in the race for the championship. Will they take the warning lightly or will they come on strong with getting at least two points out of the games? Let me know what you think.

Rooney back from injury

After five weeks in a cast, Wayne Rooney is back on the pitch training with the club. The club was not sure if he would be back for the match against Everton this weekend, but it is not being ruled out. This would also help Manchester get a boost. It is timed perfectly for Manchester United as they are just two points out of first place but cannot seem to get over that hump. They hope this will help them take down one of the EPL's current points leaders Everton, and then on to first place in a few weeks. With Rooney on the way back to the pitch, does Manchester beat Everton and go on to take first place in the weeks to come? Do not forget the Everton goalie Tim Howard is out for the game with a dislocated finger. Let me know what you think.

Tim Howard doubtful against Manchester United

While playing with the USA international against Brazil last Sunday, Howard dislocated a finger. He is doubtful to play against his former team Manchester United. Everton is tied for first in the Premier League with ten points. Manchester United is closely behind with eight points. This obviously hurts the chances for Everton, but will they be able to still pull off a win and hold Manchester from passing them in the standings? Let me know what you think about the situation Everton is put into.
