Tim Howard doubtful against Manchester United

While playing with the USA international against Brazil last Sunday, Howard dislocated a finger. He is doubtful to play against his former team Manchester United. Everton is tied for first in the Premier League with ten points. Manchester United is closely behind with eight points. This obviously hurts the chances for Everton, but will they be able to still pull off a win and hold Manchester from passing them in the standings?
